€199 incl. VAT · fixed price · PDF dossier within 24 hYou have a specific advertisement in mind, on one of the major vehicle marketplaces for example. We assess the listing, the paperwork and the price against real market data before you travel to view the car. The efficient filter: save yourself pointless viewing trips.
The Digital Audit is a dated assessment of one specific advertisement: you send us the link to the listing you are interested in, along with the paperwork available at that point. From that we produce an independent buying-decision analysis, before you view the car, including a market check: a remote assessment of the listing and its history, an asset check of the specification, the real price established from market data, and a fault forecast with a list of questions to ask.

You send us the link to the advertisement you are interested in, from one of the major vehicle marketplaces for example, through the contact form with the subject Digital Audit.
You send us the paperwork available at that point, for example the service book, workshop invoices, inspection reports and anything the seller has told you so far.
We evaluate the details in the listing, the seller's statements, the service documentation and the photographs, and set them against the market data held in 911FINDER Market Monitoring & Analytics (MarqueScope).
Usually within 24 hours of receiving the listing and the available paperwork you receive the Digital Audit with a pre-buy recommendation, a negotiating range and a prioritised inspection list. One bundled submission of further documents within seven calendar days is taken into account.
The Digital Audit is not a small preliminary technical inspection. It is a decision taken in advance, from the listing, the paperwork, the photographs and the market. Its value lies in avoiding the cost in travel, time and emotion, and in asking the right questions before you have already made up your mind. Typical patterns that come to light:
| Pattern | What the audit picks up | What it does for you |
|---|---|---|
| The specification does not add up | The listing names equipment that the photographs, or the specification recorded against the chassis number, do not confirm. | You do not end up valuing a configuration the car does not actually have. |
| A shade stands out in a photograph | A difference between two body panels is flagged from the photographs alone, as a hypothesis to test at the viewing. | The audit does not reveal the full extent of any damage, but it does prevent an uncritical viewing. |
| A low price has a reason | An import, modifications, an incomplete history or obstacles to resale explain the gap to the market. | "Cheap" becomes a driver's car, a risk or a genuine opportunity, instead of a blanket statement. |
| Price history and days on market | Repeated reductions, moves between portals and a long time on the market become visible from the market data. | You negotiate from knowledge of the market instead of gut feeling. |
| A claim without evidence | Statements such as "accident-free" or "only cosmetically refinished" are placed in one of three categories: evidenced, plausible or unverified. | Open questions become conditions of purchase, rather than something the buyer has to prove later. |
Not every pattern appears on every car. Whatever cannot be checked remotely is marked as unverified in the dossier and assigned to the inspection list for the viewing.
This is how deep a Digital Audit goes. The example below comes from a real instruction: a privately advertised 997.2 Carrera S, analysed before the viewing. Anonymised for discretion, without the chassis number, without names, without the listing details.

Torn between two candidates? The comparison dossier brings two individual audits together and sets the cars against each other feature by feature. In the real example: a 997.2 Targa 4 against a 997.2 Carrera S, two very different characters. The aim is a clear buying recommendation, weighted the way you weight things.

The Digital Audit is the one-off remote filter. If further paperwork, follow-up questions and dealer answers are to be handled after that, the Porsche 911 Purchase Advisory follows. Technical Due Diligence then assesses the actual car where it stands.
